A Step In The Right Direction

Hello world, I hope you have enjoyed your weekend. I sure have, even though there has been some negative aspects to it. One of those negative aspects is the reason for my awful updating. My computer has crashed completely, I have no clue why. All I know is that is sucks and that I really need to get it fixed. I have managed to hook myself up with a car tomorrow (thank you Caroline) so I can go to the apple store and make it all better. It really is kind of sad though, I mean a 2000 dollar computer should not break in less than a month. Shame on apple, but hopefully they will make it all better tomorrow. If not well I do have a guarantee so it should not be a problem. The worst part to be honest is realizing how dependant of a computer I am. It is actually worse than not having a phone, and therefore I am taking care of this problem much faster.

Yesterday we shoot a few scenes, one of the actors was not able to make it so we could not shoot as much as we wanted to. I was happy anyway, did not have to go and do the hunger clean up, which would have meant getting up at 7. Lucky me! Later on we played the Alumni game, as expected we won easily. However they did do a real good job, and it was really fun. It is nice to see all the old players again, once a Marquette player, always a Marquette player. I only played for about 18 minutes, coach told me he wanted to rest me for the game today. A decision that I really agreed with, I am not able to perform two days in a row. My body just cannot handle that. It did go pretty well today though, our left side really looked strong and we even managed to get a goal in. I scored it and Paul played it to me. I really feel like we can find each other well on the left side, and we work really hard for each other.

The opposite side of life, last night I went out for dinner with Caroline and two other couples. We went to this Mexican place, seriously the best guacamole I have ever tasted. I cannot even believe that it was so good, if I could it one thing for the rest of my life that would be it. The margaritas was flying in as well, I obviously did not have any since we had a game today. But the rest got pretty tipsy, Caroline even came to the great conclusion that we should go to the movies afterwards. The problem was that it started 30 minutes before we got there, I still thought it was pretty good. Caroline who actually read the book, did not care for it at all. Apparently it was not similar to the book at all. We saw the lucky one with Zac Effron. I have to admit he is a great actor, and has really developed as an actor compared to High School Musical.

I believe that about sums up my life, I hope everyone’s night will be relaxing.

If It Means A Lot To You

I just woke up, so awesome to be able to wake up whenever I want to. For some reason I decided to goof around on Youtube for a bit, and to my happy surprise I found this video. I know that it is in Swedish so most of you will not be able to understand what is said in the video, however it is not about what they say but it is about what it stands for. For me it is a tribute to what I grew up with, something that stills means so incredible much to me, I can not imagine anything that would make me prouder then represent Hammarby on Soderstadion. To run out as a player and being met my the audience, it is beyond my imagination.

What this video stands for to me is something that goes beyond love, it is more then that its a part of who I am, the core of my being. I know that it might sound weird to have a team that means so much to you, but it is more then the team itself. I remember when I was a kid, and my dad would take me to the games. I loved that to be able to walk hand in hand with my dad to watch out favorite team, he would always buy me some food, and we would be wearing the same kind of clothes. It is a part of how I was raised, a moment that I shared with my father and later on my brother as well.

I hope that everyone has something that means the same to them as this does to me. It does not matter if it is your cat, your photography, dance group, book club, computer chat, food lesson, it can be anything on this planet. As long as it means a lot to you!

Good evening people,

I just came back from the movies, we went to this awesome theatre here in Milwaukee called Oriental. From the outside it looked like a little old theatre, but when we came inside the size and design just shocked me. It just had the feeling of an old theatre but the size and condition of it was amazing. It worked real well with its own name “Oriental” by having Oriental symbols as a part of its design, Buddhist statues and tigers was only a part of the design. A real incredible theatre that was real cheap to go to as well, only 8 bucks with a student id.

The movie was really good as well, off course not as good as the books. Still a real good movie though, really captivating and indulging. It was shot in a very thoughtful way, and I loved some of the imagery in certain scenes. Excellent job of the director, and the authors did a fantastic job as well, especially the actor portraying Peeta. However, a movie can a lost never be as good as a book since a movie cannot build the same depth in all the characters. Still an awesome movie though, you should go and see it.

That is it for this evening, time for some valuable sleep before tomorrows game.

I Set Fire To The Rain

Just woke up after a great nights sleep, as usual my ears were filled with earplugs due to my snoring room-mates. I have to admit though, it is pretty sweet to sleep with them, only problem is that I barely hear my alarm in the morning. But to be late is not really a problem, it is more of a luxury I would say. Wish I lived a life where I could not over sleep, no exact time to be anywhere just chilling!

What is there to do today? Not too much actually, I have an audition for a short movie in about an hour so I need to get ready for that. I had to choose between two characters to play, and I went for the mediterranean looking one, feels like that is how I look. I have not learnt the script yet though, so I really should take a look at that but will see what happens. Other than that I really need to study for my upcoming exams and scripts that are due. Their might be sometime in their to work out aswell, might be needed because I had chips for the first time in years, I am more of a candy person so chips is a rare occasion.

Alejandro is in the room right now, he wants to play a little bit of NHL, but I told him that I need to hear about his weekend first, and here is that story.

Friday night was beer olympic night, he and his team against another team, so much determination to win. The events that were played, Flip cup, Das Boot, and Beer Pong. Sadly Thumper never got played, to bad because that is Alejandros best event he is real skillful. Sadest story ever though is that they lost, they lost greatly, or well not with big numbers but still a very sad night. They did not care to much about it and continued to party all night long. Back in Sweden we got kebab house after a night like that, but here they got Qudoba, a mexican burritos place. Pretty good food actually, I been there a couple of times.

Saturday night, after a whole day of recovering from friday it was time to go again, a few games to get it all started, cocaine, beer pong, and finally Alejandro got to play Thumper. Just as successful as usual, however the place they were at was so much fun that they never left for the party. When something already is awesome, there is no reason to change it up. The night ended quit disappointing though, after a walk to “the hood” to get some McDonald’s, the sad relasation that it is closed struck him. A very unnecessary walk into an area that is supposed to be dangerous, I personally believe that it is bullshit though. It is not any danger, or at least not more than a walk on the beach.

Anyways now i am gona kick Alejandros ass in some NHL, untill later world!
