Pasta Tree

Hi people, just came back form the most awesome restaurant I have visited in milwaukee so far. The place is called the pasta tree, and I was just stunned by how good their food is. It was amazing food delicious and great portions, and the dessert was even more amazing. Best chocolate cake I have ever had, but the best part was the intimacy of the place. It really felt like you were no longer in Milwaukee, and it was small and nice. Even though you were sitting inside it felt like you were sitting outside, kind if hard to explain but still just fantastic.

If you ever have your ways by Milwaukee, and want a place to eat you should stop by the pasta tree and eat some. And you must have the chocolate dessert.

All I Need Is Right Here In Front Of Me

Good evening people, I hope easter weekend have been filled with a lot of fun, family, friends, and food and all other things people might have during easter.

I did something I believe is a real American tradition, easter egg hunt. Coleen, the wife in the house I am staying at hid 17 of them this morning. We all tried to find as many as possible, and I did do just that. I guess i just have an eye for finding hidden treasures, I managed to find 9 of them. Yeah I know pretty impressive, I would have been an awesome pirate back in the day. Except the fact that I cannot fight or sail, but still finding treasures.

As I sad before I was going to the Cubs game today, it was real nice got some certificates since it was our first game at Wrigley fields, pretty cool of the Cubs to care that much about their fans. Other then that it was a real nice weather outside, and that made the game a whole lot better. Could work on some tan at the same time as I watched the game, and luckily enough the Cubs won.

What was just amazingly exiting about today was the family we had easter dinner with. To just bring in two complete strangers to their house and make them feel as home, give them food and drinks without even a question. If everybody in the world was like that, we would not have any problems. I am just so appreciative that people like that exists and that I have been lucky enough to meet them. A plus side was the food as well, amazingly good and so much just so much. Still just amazed by the welcoming we got and how nice and fun they were, I hope I will be able to come back one day and that any one that comes to my home will feel the same warmth their home made me feel.

We Are Tourists

Well well well, good morning world and all those who are in it!
Today looks like it is going to be a fantastic day, as all days here as a tourist seems to be. Complete honesty my favourite part is almost the spring weather and just walking around looking at the New York.

Last day I did some crazy things, like seriously I love the fact that I done it. We walked around down in little Italy and China town, while in china town we wanted to try some real chinease food. Walked in to the seemingly smallest and most chinease plays there was. The cheapest food ever,we had no clue what it was! I tried to be safe and order beef broccoli, I thought that was a safe call but I was so so wrong! Luckily enough the rice tasted really good.

The most awesome thing I tried out though was a classic italian shave, I have never been shaved with a classic shaving knife before, it was legendary. We asked the ice cream guy about a good barber and he told us to walk up the street and walk in the first barber shop and ask for sal. And so we did, and so we were shaved. A really relaxing and refreshing experience to be honest.

Just a great day down in the smaller areas of new york, now it is time for some morning coffea, ciao bella.

Change Is A Part Of Life

Good morning world, dang it I am in a good mood today. I believe that it must have something to do with it being Spring Break, finally I can do exactly whatever I feel like whenever I feel like it. Not to say that I am doing any particulary exciting things, it just the notion that it is up to be what I do. If I were on an island  in Thailand right now I would be in my own personal paradise. However, it is pretty nice to be hear in Milwaukee as well, we are fortunate enough to have real good weather.

Today looks like it just going to be chilling all day long, I had to check out from my dorm room this morning. Our school which costs 40000 dollar each year does not think that money is enough to be able to stay in a shitty dorm room for breaks, luckily enough I got some nice friends who give  me the privilege to stay at their place. I think I will clean it up here though, not just as a nice thing because they are letting me stay here but for my comfort as well.

I actually had breakfast or well maybe brunch with Alejandro today, he told me about his friday night. Not as exiting as usual but still pretty funny, apparently his friend was celebrating another friends birthday and he joined in. They were planning on going to the club, however, they never made it their. Alejandro’s friend was not sober enough to get into the club, and to not be allowed in is pretty skilled here in America I have never heard of it before. They night did not stop there though, in all accordance of brain usage they did not realize that it was time to go home. Therefore, they took a can to another bar, not a good ide since Alejandro’s friend Pepe I believe his name was, barely could stand. Another cab back from there, twenty dollars later and they were home. Alejandro told me that this was the first time he actually had to help someone else instead of getting help himself, a change in attitudes I guess. That is something you do for your friends without thinking about it, just common sense I personally would do the same. To bad Alejandro did not get the opportunity to go out though I think it would have been a blast.

In other happier thought I went to a fish taco place yesterday, best fish tacos ever. The waitress sucked, seems to be my luck lately, but the tacos oh oh oh they were so good and only a dollar. They also had oysters for 69 cents each, thereby, I decided to try my first one ever. It was not as bad as I thought it was gonna be but not really tasty either.

We Are Done Baby

Today is the day when I am officially done with everything before spring break, yeah I am on spring break. It is going to be nice to just be able to do whatever I want for like ten days. I am going to chill so much, and as I mentioned before I will be going to New York. Super random but Michael one of my oldest friends from Sweden is going there as well, hopefully will I be able to meet up with him.

Today is my room mates Axel birthday, we did not celebrate in a particular fashion today except going to dinner at Sobelman’s. I have to say that the burgers are amazing there just delicious.  Great dinner conversation with Adam, Henrik, Jason, and Pedro, they are funny people. Classic for foreigners I guess, maybe its just our weird way of thinking. Ryan joined in a bit later, only American at the table. However, not to be a douche but our waitress was awful tonight, forget our orders and never brought any water. She apologies so many times, I really felt like she was in more need of a spring break then I am.

One thing I did learn today though: power naps are awesome. I felt like a new person after mine today, sadly it was unnecessary for me to wake up. I was supposed to go and do a cold read for the script “Kids These Days” I showed up at 3:30 ready to go, however the director had mixed up the times. They changed it to five, I lazy as I am decided to stay and watch a documentary about Messi until 5. When the time came, they decided to cancel it for the day. So instead of sleeping I sat at Johnston hall, Shit happens, right??

Stay calm world,

I Set Fire To The Rain

Just woke up after a great nights sleep, as usual my ears were filled with earplugs due to my snoring room-mates. I have to admit though, it is pretty sweet to sleep with them, only problem is that I barely hear my alarm in the morning. But to be late is not really a problem, it is more of a luxury I would say. Wish I lived a life where I could not over sleep, no exact time to be anywhere just chilling!

What is there to do today? Not too much actually, I have an audition for a short movie in about an hour so I need to get ready for that. I had to choose between two characters to play, and I went for the mediterranean looking one, feels like that is how I look. I have not learnt the script yet though, so I really should take a look at that but will see what happens. Other than that I really need to study for my upcoming exams and scripts that are due. Their might be sometime in their to work out aswell, might be needed because I had chips for the first time in years, I am more of a candy person so chips is a rare occasion.

Alejandro is in the room right now, he wants to play a little bit of NHL, but I told him that I need to hear about his weekend first, and here is that story.

Friday night was beer olympic night, he and his team against another team, so much determination to win. The events that were played, Flip cup, Das Boot, and Beer Pong. Sadly Thumper never got played, to bad because that is Alejandros best event he is real skillful. Sadest story ever though is that they lost, they lost greatly, or well not with big numbers but still a very sad night. They did not care to much about it and continued to party all night long. Back in Sweden we got kebab house after a night like that, but here they got Qudoba, a mexican burritos place. Pretty good food actually, I been there a couple of times.

Saturday night, after a whole day of recovering from friday it was time to go again, a few games to get it all started, cocaine, beer pong, and finally Alejandro got to play Thumper. Just as successful as usual, however the place they were at was so much fun that they never left for the party. When something already is awesome, there is no reason to change it up. The night ended quit disappointing though, after a walk to “the hood” to get some McDonald’s, the sad relasation that it is closed struck him. A very unnecessary walk into an area that is supposed to be dangerous, I personally believe that it is bullshit though. It is not any danger, or at least not more than a walk on the beach.

Anyways now i am gona kick Alejandros ass in some NHL, untill later world!
